Every thing has a different conception of home.
To a honey bee this hive was home. A storm came through our yard a few weeks back and blew a huge limb off one of our trees. I knew bees did live there for almost a year but for some reason they left. However, I was both surprised and grateful to see this hive. Surprised because before this I had never seen inside a beehive in nature. And grateful that the bees had decided to travel on because I worried they might attack my six-year-old grandson
For a few days one summer this cabin in North Carolina was our home. It looks rustic but it had all the real comforts of home.
So…while our homes differ in style and how we conceive them all creatures have something they call home.
